By Seerat Fatima · 3 August 2026 · Live prices across 22 Pakistani fashion brands
14 August lands on a Friday this year, which means most people are dressing for a long weekend rather than a single morning. Eleven days out, the Azadi sales are already running — so the useful question is not whether to shop, but what is actually in the sale and what a decent outfit costs tonight.
We counted. Across the 22 brands we track there are 63,229 in-stock products currently priced below their original price. Everything below is an exact count of that pool, pulled live tonight, plus 13 pieces we opened and price-checked one by one.
1. This is a budget sale, not a luxury one
| Price band | Discounted items in stock | Share of the sale |
|---|---|---|
| Under Rs. 2,000 | 23,612 | 37.3% |
| Rs. 2,000–4,000 | 21,469 | 34% |
| Rs. 4,000–6,000 | 10,558 | 16.7% |
| Rs. 6,000–10,000 | 5,856 | 9.3% |
| Rs. 10,000+ | 1,734 | 2.7% |
71% of everything discounted sits under Rs. 4,000, and only 3% is above Rs. 10,000. If you were waiting for the sale to make a Rs. 30,000 formal piece reachable, this is not that sale — the money is concentrated at the everyday end.
2. Stitched or unstitched decides everything
| Article type | Discounted items in stock |
|---|---|
| Shirt — stitched | 6,226 |
| 3 Piece — unstitched | 4,947 |
| 2 Piece — unstitched | 2,181 |
| Kurta — stitched | 1,894 |
| Co-ord set — stitched | 1,764 |
| Trouser | 1,342 |
| 3 Piece — stitched | 1,250 |
| 2 Piece — stitched | 831 |
| Winter linen — stitched | 569 |
| Kurti — stitched | 516 |
| Khaddar — unstitched | 380 |
| 2 Piece suit — stitched | 313 |
| Khaddar — stitched | 292 |
| Winter linen — unstitched | 291 |
| Lawn collection — unstitched | 279 |
| Shalwar | 265 |
| Silk — stitched | 204 |
| 3 Piece suit — stitched | 176 |
| Blouse — western | 170 |
| 1 Piece — unstitched | 162 |
| Chiffon — unstitched | 128 |
| Silk — unstitched | 117 |
| Straight pants | 73 |
| Button-down shirt — western | 71 |
| Lawn collection — stitched | 62 |
| Tunic — western | 55 |
| Frock — stitched | 49 |
| Chiffon — stitched | 48 |
| Kaftan — stitched | 32 |
| 1 Piece — stitched | 22 |
| Top — western | 15 |
| Gharara suit — formal | 11 |
| Long shirt — stitched | 6 |
| Shirt dress — western | 5 |
| Midi dress — western | 5 |
| Anarkali — formal | 4 |
| Palazzo | 3 |
| Farshi shalwar | 3 |
| Tulip pants | 1 |
| Angrakha — formal | 1 |
| Maxi dress — western | 1 |
Two blocks carry this sale. 6,226 discounted ready-to-wear shirts, and 6,373 discounted 3-piece suits once you add every way the catalogue labels them.
The split inside that second number is the useful part. 4,947 of those 3-piece suits are unstitched fabric; 1,426 are already stitched — roughly three and a half unstitched suits for every ready-made one. 2-piece splits the same way: 2,181 unstitched against 1,144 stitched.
So the real decision for 14 August is not which brand — it is whether you will visit a tailor. Buy unstitched and you choose from thousands of discounted suits at the lowest prices in the sale. Insist on wearing it straight out of the bag and the pool shrinks sharply, though it is far from empty: 1,426 stitched 3-piece suits, plus separates — a shirt (6,226 discounted), a kurta (1,894), a co-ord set (1,764), a trouser (1,342).
These rows come from the site's own subcategory labels rather than product names, which is the only reliable way to count this: brands write the same thing as "3 Pcs", "3 Piece" and "3PC", and a text search for "shirt" happily returns t-shirts and sweatshirts. The trade-off is coverage — 24,764 discounted clothing items carry a subcategory label, so this table describes that labelled subset, not all 63,229. Every labelled subcategory is listed, down to the ones holding a single item.
3. What the sale is made of, fabric by fabric
| Fabric | Discounted items in stock |
|---|---|
| Cotton | 8,990 |
| Lawn | 6,922 |
| Cambric | 6,323 |
| Khaddar | 2,793 |
| Silk | 2,513 |
| Jacquard | 2,475 |
| Chiffon | 1,893 |
| Viscose | 1,558 |
| Organza | 1,553 |
| Dobby | 1,377 |
| Linen | 999 |
| Net | 617 |
Cotton, lawn and cambric account for the bulk of it — the three fabrics you actually want in mid-August heat. Organza, net and chiffon are present but thin, which matches how those fabrics are usually stocked at this point in the season.
4. Where the discount actually is
| Category | Discounted | Typical cut | Median sale price | In stock |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Home & living | 92% | 47% | Rs. 1,238 | 2,046 |
| Unstitched | 60% | 37% | Rs. 3,594 | 23,285 |
| Footwear | 52% | 48% | Rs. 1,570 | 9,831 |
| Western | 46% | 48% | Rs. 2,250 | 3,821 |
| Bags & accessories | 42% | 39% | Rs. 2,499 | 11,645 |
| Ready-to-wear | 36% | 44% | Rs. 2,850 | 84,715 |
| Bottom-wear | 33% | 49% | Rs. 1,608 | 7,228 |
| Fragrances | 29% | 34% | Rs. 2,420 | 1,154 |
| Jewellery | 9% | 42% | Rs. 500 | 27,081 |
| Formal & wedding | 9% | 44% | Rs. 1,930 | 2,337 |
| Beauty | 5% | 34% | Rs. 1,973 | 831 |
| Seasonal | 4% | 46% | Rs. 1,397 | 150 |
Two things stand out. Unstitched is the widest-discounted clothing category — 60% of its in-stock range is marked down — but its typical cut, 37%, is the shallowest of any clothing category here. Volume, not depth. Bottom-wear is the opposite: only a third of the range is discounted, but the cuts average 49%.
And the categories people assume will save them money mostly will not. Jewellery has only 9% of its in-stock range discounted, and formal or wedding wear the same 9%. Those are the two thinnest sales on the board — budget for that jewellery at close to full price. (Home & living reads 92%, but that is bedsheets and cushions, not something to wear on the 14th.)
5. Dressing in green and white
For the occasion itself, here is what is available in the two obvious colours — again, in-stock and already discounted:
| Price | Green pieces | White pieces |
|---|---|---|
| Under Rs. 2,000 | 420 | 680 |
| Rs. 2,000–5,000 | 305 | 374 |
| Rs. 5,000–10,000 | 171 | 197 |
| Rs. 10,000+ | 35 | 25 |
| Total | 931 | 1,276 |
2,207 discounted pieces between them, and roughly half sit under Rs. 2,000. There is no scarcity problem here: you can dress for 14 August in green or white for less than the price of dinner, and you are not competing for a handful of items.
One honest limit: these counts come from matching the words "green" and "white" in product names, and brands differ in whether they name a colour at all. Treat them as a floor — the real number is higher.

7. Practical notes before you order
- Unstitched needs a tailor's calendar, not yours. Section 2 is the reason this matters: unstitched 3-piece stock outnumbers stitched by about three and a half to one. Eleven days out is comfortable; a week out is not. If you are buying unstitched, get it measured this week.
- Buy the fabric for the weather, not the photo. Lawn, cambric and cotton dominate the sale for a reason — mid-August in most of Pakistan is not chiffon-and-organza weather until the evening.
- Separates travel better. A discounted white shirt works for the flag-hoisting morning and again with a different bottom in the evening. A single themed 3-piece gets one outing a year.
- Check the price history before paying. A big percentage badge on an inflated original is not a discount — the method is in How to Spot Fake Azadi Sales, and in Roman Urdu: Azadi Sale Mein Fake Discount Kaise Pehchane.
- Set a price alert on anything you like that is not discounted yet. Eleven days is long enough for a second wave of cuts closer to the 14th.
Before you buy, spend 30 seconds: compare live prices across all 22 brands, open any product's price history, and set a free price alert at TrendCompare.pk.
Method: TrendCompare 22-brand index, queried directly against the live database on 3 August 2026, last scrape 17:17 PKT. Every count is an exact query result for products that are both in stock and priced below their original price — 63,229 items in total. Article-type rows come from the site's subcategory taxonomy, covering the 24,798 discounted clothing items that carry a label; an earlier version of this table was built from product-name matching and undercounted 3-piece suits by more than ten times, because brands write "3 Pcs", "3 Piece" and "3PC" interchangeably. Colour rows are still name matches and undercount anything a brand names differently. "Typical cut" is the mean markdown and "median sale price" the true median across every discounted item in that category — full pool, not a sample. This piece deliberately makes no claim about what is selling: our stock data cannot support that, because brands record out-of-stock state very differently from one another. Everything here is availability and price. All 13 featured products were opened and verified individually before publishing; prices change hourly and may differ by the time you read this.
