How we measured this
For every product currently on sale, we compare the brand's printed original price against the highest real price we've recorded in our hourly price history over the past ~60 days. A brand is Honest when those two numbers match (within 5 points). A brand is Inflated when the printed original is more than 10 points higher than the product was ever actually sold at — i.e. the brand quietly raised the "was" price right before the sale to make the discount look bigger than it is.
Brand Ranking
Higher honesty score = the brand's "sale" is more likely to be a real discount.
