Azadi Sale 2026: The Trending Articles Selling Out

By Seerat Fatima · 8 August 2026, 5:00 PM PKT · Based on TrendCompare's hourly tracking of 22 Pakistani fashion brands

Every Azadi Sale guide tells you what is discounted. Almost none tell you what is actually leaving the shelves — and those are two very different lists.

This analysis is based on TrendCompare's tracking of 280,936 products across 22 Pakistani fashion brands, pulled live tonight. For every fabric, article type, category and price band, we compared how many items we track against how many are still purchasable.

Two things this data is not

It is a proxy, not a sales figure. An item leaving the catalogue usually means it sold — but a brand retiring a line, pulling stock or renaming an article reads exactly the same in our data. The tables show where inventory is thinning, which is the closest honest signal to demand we can measure, not proof of it.

It has no clock. A sold-out item carries no timestamp, so we cannot say it sold during the Azadi Sale. Some of these ranges have been thin since spring; our catalogue still holds 2024-season articles. Read this as a map of what the catalogue no longer has tonight, not a record of the last two weeks.

Why Laam is reported separately

One decision shapes every number below, so it belongs up front rather than in a footnote. Laam is a marketplace, not a single-label brand: 75,221 of the 280,936 items we track are Laam listings — 27% of the whole index — and they almost never flip to out-of-stock, because marketplace sellers rarely update stock state the way a brand's own site does.

Include Laam and the index reads 37% sold out. Exclude it and the same night reads 50% sold out across the other 21 brands (205,715 tracked, 102,408 in stock). That is not a rounding difference — it flips conclusions. Jewellery looks 14% sold out with Laam in and 51% with it out.

So every table below leads with the 21-brand number and shows the whole-index number beside it. Green highlighting marks rows at least 10 points above the 50% baseline that also have 1,000+ items behind them; rows marked ·small have fewer than 1,000 items and their percentages swing on a handful of listings.

1. Article types: multi-piece suits are the thinnest

Article type Sold out — 21 brands Items tracked Sold out — with Laam
3 Pcs 88% 3,562 88%
2 Pcs ·small 70% 917 70%
Shalwar 70% 13,138 64%
Waistcoat 70% 1,209 33%
Organza 67% 1,161 31%
Green 66% 5,379 29%
Khaddar 62% 6,511 55%
Jacquard 58% 4,484 54%
White 57% 4,902 23%
Kurta 56% 13,051 27%
Lawn 56% 25,003 44%
Chiffon 55% 1,937 20%
Unstitched 54% 17,869 47%
Dupatta 51% 11,913 48%
Embroidered 50% 41,082 50%
Cambric 49% 7,405 43%
Printed 47% 28,219 47%
Pret 46% 8,169 40%
Abaya ·small 46% 201 14%
Trouser 42% 12,099 40%
Co-ord 24% 4,420 24%

"3 Pcs" articles are 85% gone — 4,162 tracked outside Laam, and the same 85% whether Laam is counted or not, because Laam barely carries the term. "2 Pcs" follows at 77% and shalwars at 72%. On these numbers, multi-piece suits and separates are the thinnest article types in the catalogue tonight.

Two rows deserve a warning label rather than a headline. Waistcoat (70%) and Organza (65%) look dramatic, but 54% and 55% of their rows are Laam listings; strip those out and only ~1,200 items remain in each. The percentage is real, the sample is thin.

At the bottom, co-ord sets (25%) and trousers (43%) sit well under the baseline — those ranges are still broadly available.

2. Green and white are thinning faster than average

This is where excluding Laam changed our own conclusion, so we are showing the working. Counting the whole index, items with "green" in the name looked 29% sold out and "white" 23% — both far below baseline, which would suggest Independence-day colours were going unclaimed.

Across the 21 brands, the same searches read green 66% and white 56% — both above the 50% baseline. Nearly 60% of the green rows were Laam listings holding the average down. So on tonight's data, green and white pieces are thinning slightly faster than the catalogue as a whole, not slower.

One genuine curiosity survives the correction: searching all 22 brands for "Azadi" as a product name returns zero results. Not one article is actually named for the occasion — the theme lives in campaign styling, not in how brands name their stock.

3. Fabrics

Fabric Sold out — 21 brands Items tracked Sold out — with Laam
Chambray ·small 78% 437 68%
Poplin ·small 74% 429 73%
Organza 69% 8,194 59%

Chiffon 63% 9,499 46%
Net 62% 2,418 41%
Lawn 60% 36,526 50%
Jacquard 60% 7,955 57%
Cambric 53% 20,971 51%
Viscose 50% 5,754 45%
Wool ·small 50% 708 31%
Linen 49% 2,794 32%
Satin 47% 1,410 39%
Terry ·small 47% 323 28%
Dobby 45% 4,231 44%
Silk 42% 6,615 26%

Cotton 41% 22,381 31%
Velvet 41% 1,384 35%
Fleece ·small 40% 583 10%
Crepe ·small 39% 491 17%
Georgette ·small 39% 221 15%
Denim 37% 1,619 24%

The steady, large-sample signals: lawn at 60% across 36,526 items, khaddar at 65%, organza at 69% and cambric at 53% across 20,971. Chambray (78%) and poplin (74%) top the table but have a few hundred items each — read them as volatile.

Below the baseline: denim (37%), georgette (39%), crepe (39%), fleece (40%), cotton (41%), velvet (41%) and silk (42%). Heavier and colder-weather fabrics are the fullest ranges right now.

These fabric rows come from a filter that can match more than one fabric per item, so they overlap and do not sum to the index.

4. Who the thin ranges are for

Audience Sold out — 21 brands Items tracked Sold out — with Laam
Womenswear 53% 187,883 40%
Menswear 23% 9,408 13%
Kidswear 9% 6,344 7%

The gap is the largest in this entire piece: womenswear is 53% sold out, menswear 25%, kidswear 9%. Practically the whole men's and children's range is still listed. If you are shopping for men or children, current inventory suggests waiting is lower risk than it is in womenswear.

(This row is measured from the gender field on each product. An earlier draft of this piece measured it with a name search and read menswear at 3% — a text search for "men" also matches "women", "moment" and "statement". Worth stating, because the correction changes the advice.)

5. Categories

Category Sold out — 21 brands Items tracked Sold out — with Laam
Seasonal ·small 95% 258 62%
Beauty ·small 65% 265 18%
Unstitched 59% 48,026 55%
Formal & wedding ·small 55% 474 12%
Ready-to-wear 52% 104,335 40%
Bottom-wear 52% 9,909 43%
Jewellery 49% 8,230 14%
Western 41% 4,228 31%
Bags & accessories 30% 12,219 24%
Fragrances 27% 1,390 25%
Footwear 19% 9,685 16%
Home & living 11% 2,255 11%

Unstitched leads at 59% across 48,026 items — the largest thin category by a distance. Ready-to-wear (52%) and bottom-wear (52%) sit just above baseline. Footwear (19%), home & living (11%), bags and accessories (30%) and fragrances (27%) are the fullest ranges: accessories are where Azadi discounts are least picked over.

Seasonal (95%), beauty (65%) and formal/wedding (55%) all clear the baseline, but each has under 500 items outside Laam — treat them as directional, not as findings.

6. Price bands

Price band Sold out — 21 brands Items tracked Sold out — with Laam
Under Rs. 2,000 52% 63,304 41%
Rs. 2,000–4,000 53% 68,362 44%
Rs. 4,000–6,000 46% 32,908 35%
Rs. 6,000–10,000 42% 24,022 28%
Rs. 10,000–20,000 44% 11,313 24%
Rs. 20,000+ 42% 3,787 22%

Once Laam is out, the price story is much flatter than it first appeared: Rs. 2,000–4,000 leads at 53% and under-Rs. 2,000 at 52%, but even Rs. 20,000+ sits at 42%. There is a mild tilt toward the low end — not the collapse the whole-index numbers implied.

7. Thin ranges, still in stock, at a 60-day low

All of these were in stock when we published, all discounted, and each carried our 60-day-low flag at the time of writing — meaning the current price is the lowest we have recorded for it in 60 days, not a restored pre-sale figure. Verified item by item tonight.

What this means for your next 24 hours

  1. Decide sooner: 3-piece and 2-piece sets, shalwars, waistcoats, organza and khaddar. All are 62%+ sold out across the 21 brands, so the bigger risk is losing your size rather than the discount. Lawn and kurtas sit just behind at 56%.
  2. Less urgency: menswear (25% sold out), kidswear (9%), footwear (19%), home and living (11%), bags and accessories (28%). Current inventory suggests waiting is lower risk in these groups.
  3. Green and white: mildly thinner than average, not the untouched aisle the raw index suggested. If you want a specific green outfit for 14 August, do not leave it to the 13th.
  4. Check the price history before paying — a large badge on an inflated base is not a deal. Method here: How to Spot Fake Azadi Sales, and in Roman Urdu: Azadi Sale Mein Fake Discount Kaise Pehchane.
  5. Set a price alert on anything thin that is not discounted yet, instead of refreshing the site.

The most useful trend signal in a sale is not what the campaign announces — it is what the catalogue no longer has. 🇵🇰

Before you buy, spend 30 seconds: compare live prices across all 22 brands, open any product's price history, and set a free price alert at TrendCompare.pk.

Method: TrendCompare 22-brand index, database pull on 8 August 2026 at 17:00 PKT — 280,936 tracked products, 176,006 in stock. Every row is an exact count, run twice: once across all 22 brands and once with Laam's 75,221 marketplace listings removed, leaving 205,715 items from 21 brands. "Sold out" = tracked items no longer purchasable at the brand, as a share of all tracked items in that group; it is a demand proxy, not a sales figure, and a brand retiring a line, pulling stock or renaming an article reads the same as a line selling through. Sold-out state carries no timestamp, so these figures describe catalogue state tonight rather than sales during the sale period. Article-type rows are name matches, so "3 Pcs" includes any product whose name carries that phrase, including a few home-textile sets; audience rows use the structured gender field instead, because a name search for "men" also matches "women". Fabric rows come from a filter that can match multiple fabrics per item, so they overlap and do not sum to the index. Rows marked ·small have under 1,000 items outside Laam and are directional only. Example products were opened and price-verified individually before publishing. Prices change hourly and may differ by the time you read this.
