You spot a beautiful fabric on your feed, tap through, and the colour or size you wanted is already gone. If that keeps happening, it is not just bad luck. Our data shows which fabrics Pakistani shoppers are emptying off the shelves right now.

What is actually selling out

We treat out of stock percentage as our demand proxy: what sells out is what people actually buy. Here is how the fabrics stand today.

Dobby leads with 73% out of stock across 3757 tracked products. Cambric follows at 71% across 25676 products. Jacquard is at 70% across 10027, Khaddar at 68% across 16253, Organza at 64% across 14508, and Lawn at 63% across 57030.

How to read these numbers

Cambric is the story of volume. With 25676 products tracked and 71% already gone, it is clearly moving in a big way. Dobby has a much smaller range, yet it tops the list, which suggests shoppers are snapping up textured, structured fabric as soon as it appears. Jacquard and Khaddar also sit near the top, which fits the cooler season.

Lawn is different. It has by far the largest catalogue, 57030 products, and the lowest sellout rate of this group at 63%. That does not mean nobody wants it. It means there is so much choice that stock lasts longer, though most of it is still gone.

One honest caveat: out of stock can also reflect how much a brand produced, so treat this as a strong signal, not a final verdict.

The bigger problem with sale culture

Here is what bothers us as a market. The fabrics that get the loudest campaigns and the most ad budget are not always the ones shoppers are really buying. Visibility is bought, demand is earned. Meanwhile, constant "last few pieces" and "sale ends tonight" messaging makes it nearly impossible for an ordinary shopper to tell real scarcity from pressure. When some fabrics truly do sell out this fast, urgency becomes a perfect cover for rushed, overpaid decisions.

A discount tag means little if you cannot see what the price was last week.

Check before you buy

If your eye is on Dobby, Cambric, Jacquard or Khaddar, do not wait, but do not panic buy either. Open TrendCompare.pk, compare the same fabric across brands, and check the verified price before you pay. It takes a minute, and it keeps your money where it belongs.
