Sana Safinaz's 80% Sale Is Over: the Same Suit Is Now 20% Off

Over the past two days Sana Safinaz raised the price of 594 items. This was not drift — the discount tiers themselves were reset.

Actual examples:

• Printed dobby shirt + dupatta — Rs 1,380 → Rs 5,519 (anchor Rs 6,899). That is 80% off becoming 20% off.
• Printed satin shirt + culotte — Rs 2,600 → Rs 10,399 (anchor Rs 12,999). 80% off → 20% off.
• Embroidered lawn suit — Rs 3,900 → Rs 9,099 (anchor Rs 12,999). 70% off → 30% off.

How we spotted it. The rise ratios land on exactly three values — 1.50, 2.33 and 4.00. Markets do not move that cleanly. That pattern only appears when someone resets discount tiers: 4.00 is 80% off becoming 20% off, 2.33 is 70% becoming 30%, 1.50 is 60% becoming 40%.

And the part that matters most: all 594 of 594 still carry a "sale" flag. A shopper opening those pages today sees the word "sale" on an item that cost a quarter as much two days ago.
