Why aren't the original 22 brands paying?▼
Khaadi, Sapphire, Maria B, and the original 22 brands were onboarded as part of TrendCompare's editorial coverage to bootstrap the platform. They are grandfathered as 'Editorial Coverage' partners and pay nothing. New brands joining now pay listing fees — this is a transparent shift in our business model.
Can I get higher rankings or featured placement by paying more?▼
No. Search rankings, 'best of' lists, and comparisons are determined by data (price, availability, fabric, etc.) — not by money. Pro Partnership tier includes one promoted newsletter slot per quarter, but it is clearly labeled as 'Sponsored' to readers.
What if my product feed is in a different format?▼
We support CSV, JSON, XML, and Google Shopping feed formats. If your CMS exports a different format, we can build a translator — Rs. 25,000 one-time consulting. Most Shopify, WooCommerce, and Magento stores work out of the box.
Can I cancel anytime?▼
Yes. Monthly plans cancel with 30 days' notice. Annual prepay (15% discount) is non-refundable but transferable. We pause your listing immediately on cancellation request.
How does TrendCompare make money beyond listing fees?▼
Three streams: (1) listing fees from new brands, (2) Brand SaaS subscriptions for analytics dashboard access, and (3) Google AdSense + affiliate commissions on the 'Buy from Brand' click-throughs. Listing fees are the primary B2B revenue driver.
Will TrendCompare cover my brand negatively?▼
If your brand engages in industry-wide patterns we report on (e.g., misleading sale practices, fabric quality discrepancies), we will cover it editorially regardless of partnership status. We always reach out for comment before publication.
Can I see analytics before signing up?▼
