Prices have stopped moving, but one thing has not — new stock. Over the past seven days all 22 brands added 6,005 items between them.

The season is turning

Denim jackets have appeared in the new stock — Zellbury's run from Rs. 2,990 to Rs. 3,990. This is the point in the year when lawn recedes and heavier cloth takes over.

Alongside it, Sapphire's new silk unstitched has landed between Rs. 13,993 and Rs. 16,093 — pointing at the wedding season.

One caution

Of the 6,005 new items, 3,187 are in stock — so nearly half of even the newest listings has already gone or never fully arrived.

Zellbury is the cheapest way in (averaging Rs. 2,047) and Khaadi the dearest (Rs. 6,795). If you are buying for winter now you are buying at full price — and this week's stillness suggests waiting for an early cut would not pay.
