We Were Wrong, +2,820 Overnight: The Second Wave Is Here

Rule one of data journalism: when the data proves you wrong, say so first. Yesterday we wrote that Azadi Sale growth had stalled (+71 items). This morning's count: 71,392 discounted items, up 2,820 overnight. That wasn't a plateau; it was a breath.

This is the weekend wave: brands pushed fresh stock onto discount on Saturday night ahead of Sunday shopping, Sunday is Pakistani e-commerce's biggest day, and the Sunday before 14 August is the biggest of them all.
