Not Selling Even at Half Price: 22,650 Items, and Only 27 Left in a Day
The interesting number today isn't that prices stopped. It's that the stock isn't moving either — the 50%+ pile shrank by 27 items in a full day.

21 August 2026
The number worth attention today is not the one about prices. It is this one:
Yesterday we reported 22,677 items sitting at 50% off or deeper. Today the figure is 22,650. Across an entire day, 27 items left the shelf.
Why that matters: it means the discount has stopped working. If 22,650 items are sitting at half price and 27 move in a day, the problem is no longer the price — it is the buyer. Everyone who wanted to buy during Azadi has bought, and a 50%-off sticker is no longer moving anyone.
What it suggests next: one of two things. Either the brands cut deeper on this leftover stock in September, because the warehouse has to clear before the new season lands. Or it quietly becomes a permanent sale and sits there for months, which is what usually happens.
We'll keep measuring. If that 22,650 genuinely starts falling in the first week of September, the brands have blinked — and that will be the real moment to buy.
