An Odd Pattern: Every Price Cut in 24 Hours Was Limelight — and All on Accessories

Occasionally the data throws up a pattern too clean to be coincidence. Every price cut our 22-brand tracker recorded in the last 24 hours came from Limelight. All of them at exactly -29%.

What matters is what got cut. Not a single garment. The entire list is accessories:

• Crystal stud earrings — Rs 1,399 → Rs 999
• Hoop, hammered and gemstone earrings — Rs 699 → Rs 499
• Pearl ring, pearl cluster ring — Rs 1,399 → Rs 999
• Embellished sandals — Rs 5,899 → Rs 4,199

What it means: yesterday we reported that Limelight pulled back from the sale first, withdrawing 1,980 items at once. Today's move fits that exactly: the brand has restored normal pricing on its clothing and is now clearing accessories only. Jewellery and footwear don't date with the season the way clothes do — but they do take up space.

For shoppers, it's simple: if you wanted a Limelight accessory, today is the day. Waiting on the clothing no longer looks rewarding.
