Sapphire Added 1,945 New Pieces in 48 Hours — More Than Anyone

Over the past 48 hours Sapphire loaded 1,945 new items — far more than any other brand.

The new stock includes unstitched 3-piece chiffon at Rs 7,693 and printed dupattas at Rs 1,000.

And something we want to state ourselves. For several days no Sapphire figures appeared in our reporting, and we gave the reason each time. That fault is now fixed.

Our scraper was also reading Sapphire product pages that had been delisted. In that case Sapphire's site redirects you to a category page — and our system was taking that page's title and its first price and recording them as a product. 1,614 phantom entries had been created that way since March.

We re-checked all 1,614 against Sapphire's own site one by one — every single one was genuinely delisted — and removed them along with their price history, which had been feeding borrowed prices into our index. The scraper now carries a guard against it.
