Pakistani Fashion's New Market: 6 Brands Enter Bangladesh
Sana Safinaz just opened its second Dhaka outlet — and in 2026 Maria B, Sapphire, J., Gul Ahmed and Nishat have all landed in Bangladesh. An export story is forming.

In the country the world calls its garment factory, Pakistani fashion has arrived as a retail brand. Per Arab News, Sana Safinaz opened its second outlet in Dhaka's Centrepoint Mall — the first opened in March 2026, making it two branches in two months. Pakistan's High Commissioner Imran Haider attended the inauguration.
It isn't alone: Maria B, Sapphire, J. (Junaid Jamshed), Gul Ahmed and Nishat all entered Bangladesh in 2026. The striking irony: Bangladesh is the world's second-largest apparel exporter after China — H&M, Zara and Uniqlo manufacture there — yet none operate official stores in the country. Pakistani brands are filling that foreign-retail vacuum.
On our tracker these six brands hold 80,000+ in-stock items right now — the same designs selling in Karachi and Lahore are now on Dhaka shelves. Call it fashion diplomacy if you like; it's also simply a new revenue market of 170 million people who love lawn.
