What Actually Got Cheaper This Week: a Rs 17,990 Suit at Rs 6,000

Of the 201 prices that fell, these were the deepest:

• Edenrobe embroidered jacquard 3-piece — Rs 17,990 → Rs 6,000 (-67%)
• Generation Banjara applique set — Rs 16,998 → Rs 5,949 (-65%)
• Laam (FLO Nine99) cotton cargo pants — Rs 7,999 → Rs 3,330 (-58%)
• Laam (FLO Nine99) denim jeans — Rs 6,663 → Rs 3,330 (-50%)
• Lama Retail suede leather tassel loafers — Rs 9,950 → Rs 5,970 (-40%)

One thing stands out. The deepest cuts are on formal and embroidered stock — three-piece suits from both Edenrobe and Generation at roughly a third of their original price. That is the reverse of what we found earlier this month, when deep clearance was almost entirely cheap everyday clothing.

What it means: the brands have started releasing their expensive leftover stock, which is usually the sign of a season genuinely ending. Formal goes last, because cutting it damages the brand's own price position.
