Kinza Hashmi Walks From TV Politics Into the Real Assembly
Her politician role in Leader was convincing enough that actual MNAs invited her over — Romina Khurshid Alam gave her a National Assembly tour.

Playing Rubab in the drama Leader — a politician's daughter who rises to lead the party — turned out convincing enough to collapse the gap between fiction and the real thing: Kinza Hashmi toured the National Assembly at the invitation of MNA Romina Khurshid Alam, Dawn Images reports.
MNA Jamal Raisani had praised her performance back in July; Alam called her acting "absolutely phenomenal", and Information Minister Attaullah Tarar met her as well. Hashmi's own takeaway was the best line of the visit: "Politics, what just looks like a privilege is more than that — it's a responsibility, a duty and an all-time commitment."
Fashion desk note: when a drama heroine stands in the actual assembly, her looks land on every boutique's inspiration board the following week — Leader's structured, muted political-formal wardrobe is already climbing this season's office-wear searches. Comparable ready-to-wear: compare here.
