Karachi's runway is back in business. The Style Runway Fashion Show — part of Pakistan Season 18 — lit up the city with bridal couture and party-wear collections, The Express Tribune reports.
The star wattage did the heavy lifting: Mathira, Sunita Marshall, Hiba Ali Khan, Nimra Shahid and — the night's talking point — veteran actress Sahiba Afzal returning to the ramp after a long absence, telling press such shows are "a positive and healthy form of entertainment" and a launchpad for emerging designers.
