How does that work? Because for the brands the old stock has stopped being a problem to solve — it has been filed under "sale" and they have moved on. The new season is taking its shelf space, and the old stock is sliding to the back, cheap or not.

While the brands' attention is on new stock, the cheap old stock sits there uncontested — so there is no rush, but the choice of size and colour thins a little each day.
