Velvet in August? Winter Stock Is Already Landing — 3,002 New Pieces

It's 35°C in Lahore and Karachi — and velvet has arrived on the racks. Our tracker caught 3,002 new items on Laam in the past 48 hours, and winter stock is unmistakably among them.

Not just velvet — puffer jackets (Rs 5,999), quilted jackets and heavier kurta sets are all listing now. And it isn't only Laam: Limelight added 98 new pieces, Alkaram 39, Gul Ahmed 32.

Why now? The Pakistani fashion calendar runs on retail logic, not weather. Summer clearance frees shelf space, and winter stock takes it immediately, so the full range is in place by September-October. Which makes the last week of August the one moment both seasons sit on the racks together.
